A sort of illustration I did for the National Museum of Art in Bucharest as part of a larger student group project, for the White Nights of the Museum. We were given details of certain paintings to illustrate in a new way. The first one is my initial interpretation, but in the end I had to keep the exact cat from the painting, as in the second version. It's actually no more than a 1 h/1.5 h speed paint, but it took forever since I had to work on really large canvas. The original painting is a painting by an artist named Frans Floris and is named "The Holy Family", but unfortunately I couldn't even find it on Google images...
